EZCOOK Dongdaemun Pop-Up Recap: Six Days of Korean Ramyun at Hyundai Outlet | May 2026

Some events are measured by numbers. Others are measured by the smiles, conversations, and memories they create.

For six days across two weekends — May 15–17 and May 22–24, 2026 — EZCOOK had the opportunity to bring the Korean ramyun experience directly to the heart of Seoul at Hyundai City Outlet Dongdaemun.

What began as a pop-up event quickly became something much more meaningful.

Bringing Ramyun Culture to the Streets

Located in the sunken plaza of one of Seoul's most vibrant shopping districts, our pop-up event invited visitors to experience freshly cooked ramyun made with EZCOOK's automatic ramyun cookers.

Throughout the event, visitors could watch live cooking demonstrations, learn about the technology behind EZCOOK, and most importantly, enjoy a bowl of hot ramyun prepared just the way Koreans love it.

From curious tourists and families to office workers and long-time ramyun fans, people from all walks of life stopped by our booth. Many recognized the experience immediately.

"This feels just like Han River ramyun."

Others were surprised by how simple and consistent the cooking process could be. For many visitors, it was their first time seeing an automatic ramyun cooker up close — and it showed, in the best possible way.

More Than We Expected

Before the event began, we wondered how people would respond. Would they stop and take a look? Would they understand what makes EZCOOK different?

The answer came quickly.

People didn't just stop — they stayed. They asked questions, watched demonstrations, took photos, shared videos on their phones, and most importantly, tasted the ramyun for themselves.

Over the course of six days, we met countless visitors who were genuinely excited to learn about Korean ramyun culture and the convenience of automatic cooking technology. Many told us they had seen similar machines in convenience stores or public spaces before, but had never had the opportunity to experience one firsthand.

Seeing their reactions — that moment of surprise turning into delight — reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

We also took the opportunity to introduce our newest product — EZCOOK Eazy Han-Kki Tteokbokki — making its public debut at the pop-up. The response was immediate: visitors who tried it on the spot were hooked, proving that EZCOOK's vision goes beyond ramyun to bring the full range of beloved Korean comfort food to everyone, everywhere.
